Happy August 1st everyone. August is my favorite month of the year; it is my birthday month. I don’t have a birth-day. I have a birth month and I like to celebrate for the full 31 days.
Several people have asked me if I was having a going away party and I have answered no each time. For one thing, I don’t think I should have to throw my own party, since I am the one leaving. Secondly, I only have a few friends, many acquaintances, but only a few friends. But on Saturday afternoon, I came home to a house full of people and a surprise going away party. My husband and sister planned it and totally got me. There was so much food and drinks, and fun conversations. It was a great time had by all and quite the surprise.
Only 2 weeks to go.

It felt good seeing the crazy look, then big smile on my sister’s face that we filled the house to say, “see ya later” to her; especially since she is such a nosey butt and you can’t plan anything for her without her wanting to know about it first lol
While it was a happy moment for me it was also a sad one as every day brings me closer to being without my lil sis around to see, argue with, cry, kiss and hug. I will miss her lil round head so much:(

My big headed sister got me good. She gets on my nerves but I would do anything for her, even let her come and take over a room in Qatar.
